Privacy Policy

As a company that carries out business in the information services field, Japan Process Development Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) both directly and indirectly obtains and holds personal information related to its customers. As such, the Company is strongly aware that it is its corporate social responsibility to appropriately manage and protect such personal information.

To do so, the Company establishes a compliance program related to the protection of personal information and promotes the rigid management of the protection of personal information. Its aim is to respond to the trust gained from its customers, and the Company has established its Basic Privacy Policy as follows below so that it may fulfill its social mission.

1. The Collection, Utilization and Provision of Personal Information

A management structure with the objective of protection of personal information will be established, and the personal information shall be held, collected, utilized and provided in accordance with prescribed regulations.

2. Security Measures

The Company will be continually aware of the importance of ensuring the security of personal information. It will implement information security measures and take preventive and protective measures toward personal information through education and other appropriate means, and prevent the occurrence of fraudulent access to or loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc., of personal information. At the same time, the Company will continually review and revise its security measures as necessary.

3. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

In the handling of personal information, the Company will comply with laws and regulations as well as in-house rules that are applicable to the personal information in question.

4. Formulation of a Compliance Program and Its Continuous Improvement

In order to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and in-house rules related to the protection of personal information, the Company will establish a compliance program, make it thoroughly known by the Company's officers and employees, and maintain appropriate management of the program by continually keeping a close eye on the movement of society and carrying out periodic revisions of the program.
