Today , greater focus is being placed on safety and security, while awareness for environmental issues is rising and lifestyles are changing. Due to this, greater demands are being made regarding the standards of social infrastructure services and making them more complex.
Technologies supporting infrastructure in Japan
The electric power systems we provide work to supply stable power, which is essential to daily life. They supply power when necessary, as much as necessary and wherever necessary, which has led to us being highly regarded in countries outside of Japan as well. In addition, our many years of continuously developing traffic control systems that make safe, on-time train operations possible has allowed us to accumulate a wealth of know-how in this field. We support infrastructure in Japan not only with our knowledge of IT but also with specialized technologies and a deep understanding of the fields we are engaged in.
The characteristics and services of our company
In the energy field, we develop control systems for power plants and power distribution. The systems are used to control various functions, such as the start-up and shut-down of power plants, regular operations, individual control and automatic control. We also offer training simulators for operators. In addition, we are contributing to stable power supplies by pursuing further power optimization and offering predictive maintenance technologies to enable the early detection and maintenance of failures by combining sensor networks and the Internet of Things (IoT ). In the traffic field, we develop traffic control systems for high-speed bullet trains operating nationwide in Japan and local JR trains. We also develop Tokyo-area transport management systems (ATOS) that make it possible to manage the complex and ultra-tight schedules of the trains. Furthermore, we are also involved in the development of high-speed train systems overseas, such as the Taiwan High Speed Rail. In this way , we will continue to support railway traffic management systems that Japan can be proud to present to the world by leveraging the know-how we have accumulated over many years in the railway field.
