Automotive Systems

We offer software in a wide range of fields, such as automotive communication systems that use short-range wireless technologies to connect to society (Connected), self-driving systems that utilize advanced image processing technologies (Autonomous), and electric motor systems for electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles (Electric). With our comprehensive technological capabilities in the automotive field, we will continue to develop systems related to CASE.

We develop onboard control systems for engines and transmissions, which are tied directly to a vehicle’s basic function of moving forward, turning and stopping. Not only that, we also leverage our strength in image recognition and classification technologies to develop external recognition systems—essential to self-driving—by using cameras, radars and various other sensors. Furthermore, we also develop next-generation in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems to make driving more comfortable and convenient.

With our sights set on the new automotive industry that has taken off, we will actively engage in new self-driving technologies in addition to those that we have cultivated so far through the development of onboard control systems and onboard information systems. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to realizing a safer, more secure, comfortable and convenient society of mobility.
